Abstract

Background: Surabaya is one of the cities with high maternal mortality rate. Antenatal care is one of the recommendation to prevent maternal deaths worldwide. The data of antenatal in Surabaya indicates that there are differences of coverage of K1 and K4, where K1 and K4 are the indicator of antenatal. It indicates that there is dropout visit of maternal to check their pregnancy to health worker. One of the factors that cause maternal to disobey antenatal visits is satisfaction. This study aims to identify satisfaction and compliantenatale maternal in antenatal and to analyze the relationship between maternal satisfaction of antenatal with compliance of antenatal visit in Surabaya. Method: this analytic study used crosssectional approach. The sampling technique was consequtive sampling with 96 postpartum who fulfilled inclusion criteria on March 7th until April 7th 2017 in Edelwise room RSUD Dr. Moh. Soewandhie. The dependent variable was the compliance of antenatal visit and the independent variable was satisfaction of antenatal. The instrument was a questionnaire and KIA book. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis using Chi Square test. Result: The results of relationship between variables shows that the p value is 0.487 (p> 0,05), it means that there is no relation between antenatal service satisfaction with visit compliance antenatal. Conclusion: There is no relationship between antenatal service satisfaction with antenatal visit compliance in Surabaya.
