Abstract
The aim of this research was to explore hematological value of Water Monitor (Varanus salvator bivittatus). Total of 20 samples were examined, its consists of 10 males and 10 females, then total blood examination conducted in laboratory of clinical pathology, Universitas Airlangga. The research was conducted in July-August 2017. Determined mean hematologic results of all water monitors included WBC (x 103/mm3) 14,24 male ,15.51 female , RBC (106/mm3) 1.015 male, 1.063 female, HGB (g/dl) 11.25 male, 12.02 female, Hematokrit (%) 22.47 male and 22.66 female, MCV (μm3) 214.3 male, 214.1 female, MCHC (g/dl) 67.67 male, 53.35 female, MCH (pg) 120.25 male,115.26 female.
