Methods :This study used pre and post test control group design. Randomly selected of 35 male mices were classified into five groups. Group I (Negative Control, receive high-fat diet and CMC Na 1%), Group II (Positive Control, receive high-fat diet and Statin 125 mg/Kg bodyweight ), Group III (Dosage 1, receive high-fat diet and Canarium indicum L. 125 mg/Kg bodyweight), Group IV (Dosage 2, receive high-fat diet and Canarium indicum L. 250 mg/Kg bodyweight) and Group V (Dosage 3, receive high-fat diet and Canarium indicum L. 500 mg/Kg bodyweight). High-fat diet and Canarium indicum L.was given orally. The parameters measured in this study are the number of total blood cholesterol as a manifestasion of hyperlipidemia.
