Abstract

Objective: Atrial fibrillation (AF) is a rhythmic disturbance heart atrium, characterized by activation of rapid electrical and rapid mechanical and irregular from the atrial muscle. It is the most common cardiac arrhythmia in clinical practice, and has several causes, such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, valve disease and hypertension.This research aims to see the profile of atrial fibrillation’s patients (age, sex, primary diagnosis, hypertension, cardiomegaly) Method: This study is an observational study descriptive observe age, sex, complaint uama, primary diagnosis, history of hypertension da cardiomegaly on the suffering of patients in hospitals Atrium fibrillation Dr. Soetomo in 2015. The method used in this study is collecting data through medical records. Sampling was done by total sampling. Once it is done recapitulation and analysis of descriptive data. Result: Of the 99 samples, the highest Atrium fibrillation patients are made in the sample in this study is the age group 60-79 as many as 30 patients (30.3%). While most primary diagnosis is DCFC or heart failure as many as 29 patients (29.3%), 62.6% patients have hypertension and 61.6% patients have cardiomegaly. Conclusion: With the lack of information, it still need further studies with more complete data for better accuracy
