Abstract
Introduction: The growth of children under five are important to monitor for detect the disruption of growth early, so the disruption of growth can overcome immediately and optimize growth of children under five (Priyo, 2011). The growth of children under five are influenced by many factors, for example participation of mother in the Neigborhoodhealth Center. The research’s aim is studying about correlation between participation of mother in the Neigborhoodhealth Center with growth of children under five. Methods: The research uses an observational analytic design with cross sectional approach. A number of research subjects are determined by total sampling. Data of mother’s participation in the Neigborhoodhealth Center and growth of children under five are analyzed, then hypotheses is tested by chi square test with software IBM SPSS Statistics 19. Result: Based on the result of research with 62 respondents is obtained 50% of the respondents have regularly participation in the Neigborhoodhealth Center. Based on statistical test, the result of research is there not correlation between participation of mother in the Neigborhoodhealth Center with growth of children under five but it is obtained tendency of mother who participation regularly in the Neigborhoodhealth Center has 67% child with good growth. Conclusion: There is not correlation between participation of mother in the Neigborhoodhealth Center with growth of children under five but it is obtained tendency of mother who participation regularly in the Neigborhoodhealth Center has toddler with good growth.
