The issues discussed are how the traumatic childhood and its influence toward Rocky’s behavior are portrayed in the film. This study uses Psychoanalysis theory by Sigmund Freud, especially the concept of Female Oedipus Complex. This study also determines to find out the corelation between Rocky’s childhood and adolescent period in her personality development. To conduct the analysis, this research uses qualitative method which concerns in both narrative and non-narrative aspects of the film.
