Abstract

Many mothers during pregnancy at high risk with low birth and low-risk pregnancies with cesarean section delivery due to mothre’s own demand. This causes a pregnancy risk relationship and the type of labor is unclear. Cesarean section delivery has a five-fold greater risk of compications compared with spontaneous delivery. Methods: This research uses descriptive analytic research with retrospective approach. A total of 120 research subjects were selected by cluster sampling method of maternity mothers with 0-1 year old infants in the work area of Kedungpring community health center in June-July 2017. Data collection was done by filling in demographic data and mother's KIA book. Data were analyzed using Kendall Tau test analysis method with significance level of less than 0,05. Result: The results showed that there was a correlation between risk factor of pregnancy and type of labor with p = 0,001. Discussion: It was concluded that the risk of pregnancy have a high correlations with the type of childbirth. This relationship is strong, the higher the risk factor of pregnancy that occurs then the cesarean section will increase.
