Abstract
From the discussion in the previous chapter I got conclusion. First is about the methods that were most frequently used in PT DBL Indonesia especially for online Mainbasket magazine. Based on my observation Mainbasket magazine especially for online rubric often use adaptation and free translation methods for several news because adaptation method for translate different word or culture with the target language especially in basketball news that have a lot of different word with Bahasa, the same situation with free translation this method useful for the content easily understand. It was supported by Molina and Albir (2002) stated that adaptation to replace source language with several culture which is have a similar meaning with target language because there was no familiar element on source language or cultural element on target. I also got obstacles such as the deadline was tight because I need to find the topics with several valid data to support the content of the news and sometimes I did not understand about several words about basketball and sneakers. To overcome it, I should consultation with editor in chief and contributors and create time management. Second was about the news verified to be good news according the standards in online Mainbasket magazine. There were five standards to write good news in online Mainbasket magazine those are, tell the truth, comprehensive and proportional information, transparency, data verification and independent. To verified the good news there were two steps such as through editor and through editor in chief. The process in Editor was collecting news via email, checking language style and checking the topic. The process in editor in chief. This process was final process to check the standards in the content of the news, re-checked again several points from editor, and decided to publish or not to making the news was verified as the standards with the elements of journalism according to Kovach and Rosentiel (2007). I got obstacles such as I should wrote news with the standards and should interested. Then, the data from a lot of sources to supported the news. To overcome it, I collecting the references from other websites that often used by several contributors. The last is I also got obstacles from several problems such as the deadline, the lack of vocabulary about basketball and sneakers, create news with the standards and the data should supported the news. But, to overcome it I should consultation with my editor in chief and contributors, create time management and collect the references. Also I got added values from this process such as got knowledge about adaptation and free translation with detailed information, translate the news article from foreign source by using adaptation and translation methods and then knowledge about the process of verifying news before published with several steps.
