Method : Data was obtained retrospectively using time limited sampling method within period December 1st 2017 until January 31st 2018 at Hospitalization Unit of Airlangga University Hospital Surabaya. Inclusion criteria : all internal medicine patient ward who received analgesic for relieving their pain. Patient’s pain intensity was evaluated with VAS scale during hospitalized and before discharge from Airlangga University Hospital. Result : Metamizole IV was the most analgesic used (75,00%), paracetamol oral (43,18%), mefenamic acid (4,54%), codein oral (2,27%). Commonly used route of administration was Intravenous.
