Abstract
The purpose of this research aimed to identify and determine the severity of the gastrointestinal helminths that found in Javan Warty Pig (Sus verrucosus). A total of 13 fresh faeces samples were taken from Surabaya Zoo and the identification was conducted in Laboratory of Parasitology, Universitas Airlangga by native, sedimentation, and flotation method for the identification, and McMaster counting method for EPG count. Helminth egg found in Javan Warty Pig faeces was belong in Oesophagostomum genus and the faecal EPG was 120. The result of this research showed that helminth infestation are found in Javan Warty Pig in Surabaya Zoo with low amount and low infestation degree.
