Abstract

Indonesia has many tourist destinations. However, promotion of tourism in Indonesia is still needed and it must always be improved. Special Region of Yogyakarta is one of the cities in Indonesia with the largest number of tourists from domestic and international. English played an important role in promoting tourism destinations in Yogyakarta via brochure. It was proven by several international tourists who claimed to get benefits from the English brochure. Brochure could help, influence and invite them to visit tourist destinations. Therefore, English was very beneficial to promote tourist destinations in Yogyakarta via brochure.
