Abstract

Globalization is a process of interaction from the interchange of world, product and cultures. English as global language is used by various countries. English is also learned for various purposes. One of them is education. It is well-known fact that it is better to learn English from early age. One of English’s skills that should be acquired is grammar. During internship in SD Al Muslim Waru, Sidoarjo, the writer tried to deliver easy way to learn grammar that aims to find out the strategy to be used to teach grammar in class, to find out the problems that came up during the process of teaching and learning, and to find out solution to the problems. The first thing that was done in order to teach grammar was observing the strategy. Then, it was settled to use a certain method. The method that is used was Presentation, Practice, and Production (PPP). It was used because it is vastly used by most teachers, especially during teaching young learner. It also was also able to convey the idea to the student to make them comprehend the grammatical skill that was taught by the writer during her internship period. Lastly, providing exercise was also important during teaching grammatical skill. In short, the methods that were used to teach grammatical skill are Presentation, Practice, and Production (PPP). It was very fit for teach young learner grammatical skill
