Abstract

The research is purposed to compare the total and differential leukocyte count on rabbits with low, middle, high of scabies. It is provide information about how the number and count of leukocytes among rabbits suffering from mild, moderate, and severe degrees of scabies infection compared to normal rabbit. The methodes of this study through three stages, first, determining rabbits suffering from mild, moderate, and severe scabies infection, then taking blood samples from normal rabbit and those who with mild, moderate and severe degrees of scabies infection, and also counting leukocyte and types under a microscope. The results showed that total leukocytes among normal rabbit and rabbits with mild, moderate, and severe degrees of scabies infection had significant differences (p <0.05) with the highest leukocyte counts in rabbit with severe scabies infection is 13030c ± 1013, and the lowest in normal rabbit is 6930d ± 929. The results of the study of differential leukocyte in normal rabbits with rabbits infected with scabies with mild, moderate, and severe degrees of infection showed significant differences for neutrophils, eosinophils, monocytes, and lymphocytes, and basophils in normal rabbits and rabbits with mild, moderete, and severe degrees of scabies infection were not found.
