Abstract

The development of modern technology has a significant influence on the world of information, online media is one of the media that contains information that can be easily accessed by the public. The large number of sources of information causes information to be spread freely and uncontrollably, even though people need valid and accurate information instantly. A grouping of information is needed based on categories or themes that are contained by a source of information to make it easier for people to access it. A securities company is an intermediary company to conduct transactions in the world of shares. Many fraud cases in the community on behalf of securities companies under the guise of investment, the result is that the public's point of view will be negative for investment because of the fraudulent securities company. The Financial Services Authority as a supervisory body has issued a list of listed companies and can be used as reference material and considerations for selecting securities companies. The author makes the Final Project with the Online Directory of Securities Companies that are Registered at the Financial Services Authority. With data published by the official website of the Financial Services Authority, the author collects and develops data with a data base published by the official website of the Financial Services Authority. Product creation uses the WIX website builder site. This product contains profiles, addresses, contacts, official sites and business scope of securities companies. Online Directory of Securities Companies Registered at the Financial Services Authority has content that is easily understood by users such as categorized business licenses and official company website addresses listed and can be accessed through electronic devices including smartphones. This website does not contain all registered securities companies because some companies have a website address that is being repaired or a site that is deemed not to have clarity about the company.
