Abstract
Since the beginning of its establishment, the office of industry and trade has often renamed. At the Fourth Development Cabinet which formed on March 21, 1983 the Department of Trade and Cooperatives was separated again into the Department of Trade and Cooperative Ministry based on the Presidential Decrre number 388/ M of 1996. Then Department of Trade and Industry Department merged into the Ministry of Industry and Trade. On January 1, 2001 with the enactment of Law No. 22 of 1999 the Ministry of Industry and Commerce changed its status to the office of industry and trade.
