Abstract

The translation methods mostly done in translating annual book in Mpu Tantular National Museum are word for word translation and literal translation. The writer was using these translation methods while conduct internship in Mpu Tantular National Museum, because these two methods are more suitable in translating the context that are written in the annual book.The improvement for all the parties that include the writer, Mpu Tantular National Museum, and D – III Bahasa Inggris. For the writer, while conduct the internship the writer improves his Bahasa Indonesia - English translation skill, English writing skill, Bahasa Indonesia – English speaking skill. For the Mpu Tantular National Museum, the museum’s get a help for finishing their second annual book that available in Bahasa Indonesia and English. Mpu Tantular National Museum also able to overcome several of their English related issues. For D – III Bahasa Inggris, relations is improving due to internship conducted in the Mpu Tantular National Museum is
