Abstract

Children with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection have a low risk of self-esteem, emotional and behavioral problems, and complication of HIV infection itself. The quality of life of children with HIV has decreased despite they already got ARV treatment, due to nutritional problems, psychosocial problems, the low coverage of HIV in pregnant women, delays in diagnosis and negative stigma about HIV. Evaluation of the quality of life in children with HIV is needed over time to improve their quality of life.
