Abstract
The aim of this study vvere to identify and analyze the Iype and

in diabetes mellitus patients type I and type 2 with or without

prospectively conducted from March 2012 until May 2012. The result

received rapid-acting and short-acting insulin therapy in the range of

in patient with high FBG. Rel initial therapy with RHI or Asparl
intravenously at a dose regime (n-l) x 4-8 units/hour. where n

~fiCtUt to control. Subcutaneous insulin doses for maintenance was carried
in accordance with the rules of a dose of 3 x 4-14 units adapted to the
patients. Drug-related problems has identified that side etTects lI'om the
of insulin hypokalemia (4,3%) and hypoglycaemia (1,4%), interaction
