Abstract

Nowadays convergence and development of information and communication technology, namely in the feld of digital informations, has fundamentally altered pre-existing notions of intellectual. Propery Rights (lPRs), which traditionally are rellaed to physical embodiment of ideas or intangible goods. Today's digital information poses enormaus challenges to the convertioonal intellectual property law in general, and copyright law in particular. In the era of digital information, there are needs for what is called the " Information management society". This paper aims to analyze the characteristics of information management society and to share some insights on the kinds of copyright protection that can be ultilized to protect the existence or implentation of an information management society.
