Abstract

Background : Hypertension is blood pressure where systolic pressure ≥ 140 mmHg and diastolic pressure ≥ 90 mmHg. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of yoga exercises on increasing SpO2 levels in elderly with first degree hypertension in Griya Werdha Jambangan Surabaya Method : The instrument uses an observation sheet and pulse oximetry. Â Result : The results showed that there was a significant influence between yoga exercises on the increase of SpO2 level in elderly with first degree hypertension Conclusion : The implication of this research is yoga gymnastics influence on the increase SpO2 level in elderly, so hopefully hypertension patients do yoga gymnastics to avoid complication from hypertension.
