Abstract

Odd-even system applied in DKI Jakarta is a breakthrough or a solution from the government in reducing the level of traffic. This system is only valid at particular times and places. The enforcement of this system is intended for a 4 (four)-wheeled motorvehicle, in which case a private car or passenger car. Therefore, online transportation that used a private car or passenger car in providing transportation services is also affected by this system. The system has a positive impact and negative impacts especially for passengers and transport carriers online. Carriers and passengers do not have the right to pass certain streets. In the end, there will be a breach by the carrier to the passengers or vice versa. Therefore, legal protection for passengers and carriers is required, as well as a special status for the 4 (four) wheeled motor vehicles used as an online transportation service mode.
