Abstract
From the discussion in the previous chapter, the writer got several conclusions. First is about the competencies performed by sales intern in Aruna Senggigi Resort and Convention in describing the hotel rooms and services to customers. There were seven competencies that were mostly used by the sales staff of Aruna Senggigi Resort and Convention in negotiating prices of hotel rooms and services with customers. They were mastering product, delivering the quality of product, completeness, correctness, courtesy, clarity and conciseness. Second, it is about problems that were faced by marketer intern and marketer staff in Aruna Senggigi Resort and Convention in promoting the hotel rooms and services and how to handle them. There were three problems faced by marketer intern and staff in Aruna Senggigi Resort and Convention. They were lack of advertising skill, not willing to adapt to a-new technology and grammatical error and the way they handled those problems were by self-learning, managing time, consistency and creativity
