Abstract
Helianthus annuus is one of medical plants which grows in Indonesia that has health benefits and potential to be used as a traditional medicine. There have been many studies on sunflower leaves (Helianthus annuus L.) which show the potential for pharmacological activity as a medical plant. The specific parameter values of simplicial are: water soluble extractive content from Bandung (19,81±0,76%, Kebumen (25,39±0,88) % and Surabaya (23.97±0,74) %; ethanol soluble extractive content from Bandung (15,27±1.70%, Kebumen (16,71±0,37)% and Surabaya (15,81±0,27) %. β-sitosterol content from Bandung (0.22±0.01), Kebumen (0,16±0.01) and Surabaya (0.17±0.01). While non specific parameter of simplicial sunflower leaves are: loose on drying content from Bandung (9,42 % ± 0,05)%, Kebumen (8,68 % ± 0,17) % and Surabaya (9,73 ± 0,38)%, total ash content from Bandung (8,42±1.67)%, Kebumen (7.58±0,37) % and Surabaya (9.73±0,22) %; insoluble acid ash content from Bandung (6.85±0,13)%, Kebumen (0,35±0,08)% and Surabaya (6.59±0,12)%.
