Abstract

Land use change is a familiar thing in densely populated areas. An individual or group that owns land in a densely populated area will inevitably sell their land. This can also be caused by various reasons, one of which is the selling price of land that can be used for other purposes or for desired items. Changes in land use should have various impacts felt by the community. The most striking impact is the socio-economic impact of the community. The factors that cause changes in the designation of agricultural land to non-agricultural uses are due to various factors (Lestari, 2010). The thing that concerns researchers is the socio- economic impact that results fromchanges in land use in Tambak Oso Village and how to solve these problems. This research uses qualitative research methods, with a case study research paradigm. In this research, the theory used is Samuel L. Popkin's theory of rational farming and occupational shift theory . The research subjects were determined by purposive technique with a total of 8 people. The data was collected by in- depth interview , observation, and documentation . Data analysis was performed d ith inductive analysis namely data reduction, categorization and conclusion. The results of this research are the first, namely the impact caused by changes in land use by PT.Sipoa, namely economic impacts, in which the impact is felt, namely shift in occupation, and increased income earned by the community. While the social impact felt by the community is felt to be less impactful, this is because the relationship of the indigenous people of Tambak Oso Village is still harmonious and intimate, but the indigenous people of Tambak Oso Village are not familiar and do not know the immigrants who are in Amerta Green Land Housing. Meanwhile, the mitigation of impacts by the affected communities is to buy land again, open grocery stores and change livelihoods for those who do not buy new land.
