Abstract

Burgarage Burger & Bar Jember is a food business with the main dish being burgers. In the process of managing data on sales transactions and procurement of ingredients, it is still less efficient because it records data and processes data manually. The purpose of this final project is to create a websitebased information system to facilitate the management of sales transaction data and procurement of ingredients at the Burgarage Burger & Bar Jember and to minimize errors in data recording and data processing. This system includes five processes, namely the sales recording process, the ingredients procurement process, the ingredients receipt process, the procurement validation process and the report generation process. In creating the Sales and Procurement Management Information System of Burgarage Burger & Bar Jember there were five stages. The first stage was collecting information and identifying data requirements by conducting interviews with client. The second stage was to analyze the problems in the current system using Document Flow Diagrams and Fishbone Diagram. The third stage was creating a system design starting with process design using Level Diagram and Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), then database design using Conceptual Data Model (CDM) consisting of 19 entities and Physical Data Model (PDM) consisting of 19 tables and making designs inputs and outputs. The fourth stage was to describe the system flow with a Flowchart and implement a system design with a web-based programming language. The last stage was to test the system by running the test scenario that has been created. Based on the results of the implementation, testing and evaluation of the system, the Sales and Procurement Management Information System of Burger & Bar Jember has been in accordance with functional requirements that can handle problems in several business processes so that business processes can run more effectively and efficiently and can produce accurate reports computerized.
