Abstract
To provide translation results that are structurally and meaningfully appropriate, translators must be able to apply suitable strategies in translating reports. In this case, the management report was being translated. There are addition, subtraction, modulation, synonym, and formal translation strategies that used as the strategies in this report based on the theories from the book of Suryawinata and Hariyanto. Also, the assessment of the translation quality is also important to measure how good the quality of the the writer’s translation is. Based on the rubric from Khanmohammad and Osanloo, there are five aspects, namely accuracy, finding equivalents, register and TL culture, grammar and ST style, shifts, omissions, additions, and inventing equivalents as criteria for assessing translation quality.
