Abstract

This research with the title “Nilai Edukatif Pembentukan Karakter Anak dalam Novel Anak Rantau Karya Ahmad Fuadi” going to find about characterization and build up the relations between characters as well to forming the process of educational values and find the meaning behind the character changing on main actor inside the “Anak Rantau” novel. This research start with finding characterization character and relations between characters which impacted character changing on main actor. There after, researcher move to the characters maker process and the main idea behind the character changing. This research is a qualitative and served the literature research in descriptive analysis. Researcher collect the data with reading, concluding, and finding references in form of literature. This research result that the change in the character of the Hepi character because the interaction and stimulus given by the three characters in the novel. The stimulus is in the form of restoring Hepi's memory about the adversity experienced and the control of the three characters. The control of the three characters can have a positive impact on Hepi's character. The meaning of the character changes that occur in Hepi's character is a factor of new people, new environments with new habits that can make Hepi's characters learn to understand the circumstances and conditions that occur in their environment.
