Abstract
There is a great number of studies about linguistic difference in a society. Linguistic difference is influenced by distinctive factors such as social structure, ethnic-group differentiation, geographical differentiation, sex.race, etc. This study discusses one of those factors, that is sex differentiation. socially, men and women are different. It has been researched that men's speech is different from women's. They differ because of social expectations. Society expects women to be more polite and better in their behavior, including their speech. This phenomena is also found among Sundanese.people in Bandung.
