Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak pembangunan jembatan Suramadu terhadap aglomerasi industri di kabupaten Bangkalan, Sampang, Pamekasan, Sumenep dan kota Surabaya pada tahun 2005-2020 dengan tahun 2009 sebagai tahun intervensi. Pemilihan metode Causal Impact dari Bayesian Structural Timeseries (BSTs) dapat mengestimasi nilai dari data jika seandainya tidak terjadi intervensi selama periode waktu penelitian. Indeks Balassa digunakan untuk menggambarkan aglomerasi industri di masing-masing wilayah. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kabupaten Bangkalan, Sampang, Pamekasan dan Sumenep mendapat efek negatif sementara efek positif di dapat kota Surabaya. Hal tersebut menandakan bahwa terjadi Backwash Effect di wilayah sekitar selama periode pasca beroperasinya jembatan Suramadu.
