Abstract
A movie adaptation sometimes makes a wrong interpretation toward the original work, which is novel. It happens in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. The movie itself had been noted as a breakthrough hit in children fantasy genre and achieved several awards. unfortunately, Chris Columbus, the one who directs and produces Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone had visualized it differently. it is not in a critical way but quite affecting in developing a different impression to the main analysis of this thesis, the character of the story, Harry Potter itself.
