Abstract
The success of governmental organization is determined by the behavior of officials and the quality of officials' leadership itself A good official's leadership which is provided for empowerment of roles and leadership functions as well as a constructive organizational climate to serve better to society. It is a fact of organizational that leaders play important roles, even much ,more substantial, -in an effort to accomplish the given goals determined previously. In governmental organization, the so-called bureaucracy Ieadership is a leader of certain position mounted by competent officials. There is a weakness found in this approach. of leadership. The-weakness constitutes a-set of problems in organization particularly on governmental organization; that is how far these people, officials in highest position, set out a leadership behavior. Another weakness of this leadership is that the commands are authoritative in nature with one-way communications. A set of problems in bureaucracy leadership becomes a barrier for independencies of subordinates to do their jobs. Organizational climates comprise a certain description of conditions in organization. Climates are determined by how good subordinates are directed, constructed, and rewarded by organization. Supports served by leaders to subordinates, the existing rules, and rewards will give a description about constructive organization climate in creating an achievement of high performance. Based-on the consideration, this study is set to know how far the influence of leadership and organization climate is as independent variables (X) towards work achievement as dependent variables (Y). The results of the study show that Fbih,,,g is 3.928 Because Fhiwne is 3.928> Ft~bei, then the-variation of independent variables explains the dependent variation. The data analysis shows that style of leadership variables.(XI) and organization climate (X2) give influences towards work achievement (Y). the correlation between. style of leadership (XI) and organization climate (X2) towards work achievement is 0.340. While the determinant-coefficient (R) is 0.116 and significance is 0.025. because of significance is "lower than 0.05 as determined previously, then the influence of both dependent variables is said to be significant. The influence of independent variables towards the changes of dependent variables is 11.6%. Regarding the significance. and determinant coefficient aforementioned, the first hypothesis is accepted. The result of regression analysis to know the contributions of each predictor variable shows that style of leadership give no significant influence towards work achievement. It is noticed that significance value as 0.137 is higher than 0.05, thus style of leadership variables independently has no influence significantly towards work achievement. In additions, organization climate has no influence significantly towards work achievement-as well. It is noticed that the significance value as 0.163 is higher than 0.05. Because of the significance value of leadership style and organization climate is higher than 0.05 then the second hypothesis is rejected.
