Abstract
This thesis observes about The Factors of Work Capability that comprise of education, communication, participation, and work experience towards the work productivity of the home industry employee in Belinibing b:mus Gresik. The population research is the employee of the home industry producing Kopyuh (Moslem Hat) in Belimbing limas Kabripaien Gresik Jana 9'intur. The research pattern is survey cross sectional. The processing of research data is done by using SPS 2000 Sutrino Hadi and Yuni. The technique of analysis is multiple linear regression analysis, with regarding the values of p, b', i, r and the effective contribution. Based on the analysis result, the value of p is 0.000 for the regression analysis as a whole. So that the factors of work capability comprising of education, communication, participation and work experience wholly effect a lot the work productivity of an employee of the home industry producing Kopyuh in Belunbing l:inas Gresik. Therefore the formulation of problem can be answered. And the truth of the hypothesis can also be approved. From the value of' R2=0.660, 1 can conclude that all the four independent variables of work capability contribute the work productivity of the employee of the home industry producing Kopvah in Behinbiug limas Gresik, i.e_ 66%. It means that the four variables effect the work productivity a lot because the value of' p is less than or equal to 0.01. Partially, the independent variable of education doesn't effect the work productivity because it has the value of p=0.833. Meanwhile the variable of communication partially effect the work productivity because it has the value of p=0.000 with the partial correlation degree = 0.375. The effective contribution is 17.22401%. Work experience is the third variable that effects a lot the work productivity with the value of p=0.1105, with the partial correlation degree = 0.356 and the effective contribution is 14.144%. So the dominant variable is the variable of communication, which effects the work productivity of the employee. Based on the analysis result, the regression equation of the work productivity of the employee of the home industry producing Kopyuh in Belimbmg Emas Gresik is Y=10.59+0.65 X2+0.37 X3+0.49 X4
