Abstract

Kidnap is an American movie about the struggle of a black woman in fighting against white kidnappers who kidnap her son. On the one hand, white supremacy constructed by society always relate white man and woman with superiority and powerful. On the other hand, this film shows that white supremacy and gender inequality is no longer absolute anymore in the fight of a black woman. The struggle of a black woman seems to be the point that portrayed in the film.
