Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the addition of turmeric flour and fish oil in feed to egg index, haugh unit and quail egg yolks color. This research is an experimental. Using 96 head a 8-week old quail head is divided into 6 treatments and four repeats. The treatment is A1B1 Fed formula + turmeric 0% flour + fish oil 0%, A1B2 Fed formula + turmeric flour 0% + fish oil 2%, A1B3 Fed formula + turmeric flour 0% + ikan oil 4%, A2B1 given the formula + T. 0.3% turmeric flour + fish oil 0%, A2B2 Fed formula + turmeric flour 0.3% + fish oil 2%, A2B3 Fed formula + turmeric flour 0.3% + fish oil 4%. Data is taken daily for one week during the 4th week of treatment. Based on the results of the analysis can be noted that there were no noticeable difference (p > 0.05) in egg Index and Haugh egg unit, while there were a noticeable difference (p < 0.05) in the egg yolk color.
