Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh pembiayaan modal kerja terhadap kinerja perusahaan pada negara ASEAN. Penelitian ini juga melihat peran financial constraint pada pengaruh working capital financing terhadap kinerja. Total observasi sebesar 6.183, merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang listing di bursa efek 5 negara ASEAN yaitu Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapura, Philipina, dan Thailand selama 10 tahun, 2009-2018. Hasil estimasi menggunakan Generalized Method of Moment (GMM) menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang berbentuk inverted u-shape antara working capital financing terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Hasil tersebut mengindikasikan adanya trade-off dalam strategi pembelanjaan modal kerja. Hasil dari analisis regresi moderasi juga menunjukkan bahwa financial constraint akan memperlemah pengaruh working capital financing terhadap kinerja perusahaan.
