Abstract
Based on the discussion, the writer could conclude several things. First of all is about the problems, which are related to pronunciation and non-verbal communication. As mentioned in the previous chapter, those problems happened because of limited English ability and the knowledge of understanding language barriers by some people that were in the conversation. Second, about the solutions. To overcome the problem that happened while interacting with non-English speaking tourists, the writer used several ways that were mentioned in the previous chapter such as: 1.Make sure to speak clearly, slowly, and with carefully chosen words. 2.Do not use connected speech. 3.Be specific and use simple words. 4.Be fluent in more than one language. Third thing is about obstacles. During the internship, as mentioned in theprevious chapter in conversation with some Russian and Japanese tourists, the writer had some moments where the writer was not very sure whether the tourists were speaking with him or other people due to the way they speak. Furthermore, the writer mentioned that he was ignored by non-English speaking tourists when the writer greeted them with connected speech.
