Abstract

The personality of a person is influenced by his upbringing. The condition of the environment and family mold a person's way in facing problems in his/her life. Apart from the external aspects, the innate personality has an effect on his/her future personality as well. This is proven in Strindberg's life. This famous playwright from Sweden is a misogynist because of his unhappy childhood experience. He lost his mother's love. This main reason causes failures in his life in spite of his own weak character.
