Abstract
In Surabaya, many radio stations have been estabilished. They use language which are different each other on their variety. They have their own characteristics in using language, including SCFM. SCFM with its talk-shows is one of the radio stations that uses standard Indonesian during the programs. This language is varied by inserting words from other regional languages. The languages here refer to the English and the Jakartanese. The varieties that appear -in English or Jakartanese- can be in the form of single or isolated words (with and without affixes), phrases (with and without affixes), and typical words or elements (for the Jakartanese). In this case, the writer does not discuss those languages deeper, but only to analyze the variety of language based on the obtained data.
