Andiyani, Trisni. "The Influence of Colour as Visual Cue to Early Reading Quran Acquisition (A Study on Psycholinguistics about Indonesian Prekindergarten and Kindergarten Children)". Submitted as partial fulfillment of requirement for sarjana degree of English Department, Faculty of Letters, Airlangga University. 2001 This study is in form of a research on the application of colour in teaching Quran to prekindergarten and kindergarten children. The colour treatment is based on some theories about Developmental Information-Processing Model of Reading proposed by Louise Spear-Swerling and Robert .I ( 1994 in Santrock, I 998: 334- 335), an experiment by Egeland ( 1975 in Reed. 1992: 18), and Feature theory for pattern recognition in field of cognitive psychology
