Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji histopatologi hati mencit jantan yang diinduksi alkohol (Mus musculus) dan mengetahui apakah VCO dapat memperbaiki histopatologi hati mencit jantan (Mus musculus) yang diinduksi alkohol. Penelitian ini membutuhkan 20 ekor mencit jantan yang kemudian akan dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok dimana masing-masing kelompok berisi 4 ekor mencit dengan berat masing-masing mencit sekitar 20-30 g dan berumur 2-3 bulan. Virgin Coconut Oil dapat memperbaiki histopatologi hati mencit (Mus musculus) yang diinduksi alkohol. Terlihat bahwa dosis kelompok perlakuan 3 (0,37 ml/20g BB) paling efektif untuk mengurangi kerusakan fokal nekrosis dan fibrosis pada hati mencit (Mus musculus).
