Abstract
Patriarchal ideology is practiced in most society. The system requires certain roles for each sex. Women are regarded as inferior to men. Men can go everywhere and do eveything; while women are expected to stay quietly in the house and do the chores. Men should be the sole breadwinner and women depend on their husbands. This phenomenon strictly happens in many places in the world.
There are some women who are against this system and tend to struggle to get equal position as men. However, there are women who tend to do and be what men wanted them to do and be, but at the same time develop their self identity by developing their own skills and abilities. The others are women who are willing to follow the patriarchal ideology in order to make their husbands happy and satisfied.
