Abstract
Peristiwa alih kode dan campur kode dapat ditemukan di banyak tempat, begitupun alih kode dan campur kode yang ada pada suatu video blog. Dewasa ini video blog atau yang lebih dikenal dengan sebutan vlog telah banyak diminati setiap orang di dunia. Penelitian ini terfokus pada peristiwa alih kode dan campur kode yang terjadi dalam 5 video blog dari channel Genki Banget! oleh vlogger Sokorahen Genki asal Jepang sebagai objek penelitian. Dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif, peneliti menganalisis wujud serta faktor terjadinya alih kode dan campur kode. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa wujud alih kode ekstern dan campur kode ke luar banyak ditemukan dalam suatu vlog. Terutama peristiwa campur kode lebih sering dijumpai daripada peristiwa alih kode. Faktor penyebab terjadinya alih kode dan campur kode adalah faktor lawan tutur dan pelaku tutur yang merupakan dwibahasawan. Latar belakang participants yang terlibat dalam percakapan, dapat mempengaruhi penggunaan bahasa dalam suatu vlog. Selain itu, faktor situasi juga banyak memunculkan peristiwa campur kode dalam percakapan.
