Abstract

Having work experience in Aruna Senggigi Resort and Convention, especially in the Reservation Division, is a valuable thing for the writer. By having her internship in Aruna Senggigi, she could improve and practice what she learned during her study time in Universitas Airlangga, especially hotel and tourism-related courses. Therefore, by doing her internship in Aruna Senggigi Resort and Convention, the writer can increase her soft skill and hard skill, especially in the hotel and tourism field. Being a reservation agent in Aruna Senggigi means that she had to adapt to reservation agent tasks. Referring to JobHero and Ajar.id (2018), there are three roles that a reservation agent must master, which are the reservation maker and manager role, customer service role, and service and product seller role. Based on the writer’s experience and observation, the reservation agents in Aruna Senggigi Resort and Convention do all of the roles above.
