Abstract

This study aims to describe the career development model and analyze the factors that influence the career development of policewomen in the East Java Regional Police. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method and data collection is done by interview. The career development model of policewomen in the East Java Regional Police, although their personality characteristics differ, but in general are in accordance with the dimensions and indicators in the career development process. While the influencing factors are fair treatment in a career, concern of direct superiors, information about various promotional opportunities, interests to be promoted and level of satisfaction have been implemented well. Even the duties of the police are greatly assisted by the existence of policewomen officers to realize a professional, modern and reliable.
