Abstract
Background: Metal ceramic restoration is one of the fixed denture restorations in order to replace missing teeth. This restoration must have good retention and resistance to get the successful treatment. To support a good aesthetic of metal ceramic restorations in the case of a crowded space, the restoration must have an anatomical shape, position and color that can look like a natural tooth. Purpose: To explain the fabrication of a metal ceramic restorations in 11 and 21 to get the good aesthetics and retention. CASE: the maxillary model in 21 which has a crowded space and 11 has a short crown preparation accepted by dental laboratory, then a metal ceramic restoration will be made with additional rest in lingual 22. Conclusion: the procedure of fabrication of a metal ceramic restorations in short supporting teeth and crowded space in order to get the good aesthetics and retention are coping designs which must be concerned, anatomical shape of the teeth, colors that match the prescribed shade guide, ceramic thickness and metal finishing on colar and rest that must be smooth and glassy so that no of plaque accumulation.
