Abstract

By its very nature, poetic imagery links human thoughts and emotions intimately with the external of world. Often it attributes human thoughts and emotions to natural objects. The nature of human thought has been explored since the humans have existed on this planet. Wordsworth's Ode: Intimations of Immortality from Recollections of Early Childhood is one of Wordsworth philosophical thought about nature and its relation toward his childhood that he wants to get it back after he lost his visionary gleam in his adult period. Feeling of awe and wonder when enjoying a beautiful natural place, looking for shooting stars in the night sky, build his feeling of sacredness of the Earth and Life. Here, he believes that nature is a wondrous creative force.
