Abstract
The novel Inshallah by Oriana Fallaci tells about the Italian soldiers' task as international peace-keeping force came to Lebanon. They guard in the Muslim area. The misconception and misinformation about Lebanese-Muslim make Italian soldiers view the Lebanese-Moslem negatively. The novel will be analyzed apply the theory of Orientalism. The notion between 'us' refers to Westem and 'them' refers to Lebanese-Muslim. "Us" in this, Italian soldiers as superior stereotyping Lebanese-Muslim as 'them', based on the Italian soldiers point of view. From the notion 'us' and 'them' the Italian soldiers represent the Lebanese- Moslem negatively, because they do not have the Western values.
