Abstract

For some people, listening to rock music may not be fun or interesting. Listening to rock music may cause a headache or raise the blood pressure, or get somebody into a serious heart attack because of its strong marked rhythm or beat. In spite of the beat many youngsters go crazy when the music is on, they scream with excitement and move their bodies along with the music. Bon Jovi, one of the rock music bands, is quite well known among youngsters and has big fans from all over the world because of the songs, which are written and composed by them. Instead of the musical arrangement, people like their songs because of the lyrics. The lyric is so plain, simple and easy listening. But, we cannot deny that there are a great number of people who bate Bon Jovi because they think their lyric is sarcastic and cynical. Some of the songs distrust God and underestimate the Christians. However, the phenomenon does not reduce the number of the fans that is getting bigger and bigger each day. As one of the famous rock music bands, Bon Jovi has created more than hundred of songs, and released eight albums in their entire career since the year of 1984. Most of their songs talk about love and life that everybody has experienced, including Jon Bon Jovi, who is both the lead vocal of the band and the songwriter.
