Abstract

The objective of the research is to examine and explain in influences of organizational commitment, economically members participation to work motivation and cooperative performance. The research is carried out at cooperatives organization in East Kalimantan Province involving 110 managers as the respondents. This research employs Structural Equation Model (SEM) technique that is processed by AMOS 4.01 program to test several hypotheses. The results of the study show that : 1. Organizational Commilment Variable has insignificant influence to Work Motivation and Cooperatives Performance variables. 2. Work Culture variable has significant influence lo Work Motivation and Cooperatives Performance variables. 3. Competitive Strategy variable has significant influence to Work Motivation and Cooperatives Performance variables. 4. Economically Members Participation variable has significant influence to Work Motivation and Cooperatives Performance variables. 5. Work Motivation variable significant influence to Cooperatives Performance. Based on the results of analysis can be concluded that the cooperatives organization has gives low commitment to its managers. Thus, in managing cooperatives in East Kalimantan Province needs to be highlighted for cooperative managers so that the managers' work motivation to improve the cooperative performance in the future.
