Abstract

There were several main points that could be concluded from this final report. The main points were about the problems that already answered by the writer. The problems are enriching students’ vocabulary through guessing games in descriptive text for fourth graders and the advantages of using guessing games as a learning strategy for fourth graders.First, enriching students’ vocabulary was an important aspect of learning English. Enriching vocabulary should be combined by the proper strategy to get a maximal result. Now, we were talking about young learners. Young learners have a different characteristic from teenagers or old learners. Young learners were easily bored and distracted by something. As a teacher, the writer should pick the right strategy to teach young learners. Game is the young learner daily activities. The writer decided to combine game with education to get a good output. It did work and it proved by the score of the students in the daily test that were good.
